Hopewell Employee taking a Leadership Role in Thomasville, GA
The Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce Leadership program is a community education program designed to acquaint existing and emerging community leaders with contemporary and future issues, needs, services and resources of our city and county. As a result of this improved awareness, participants will be challenged and motivated to assume even more active leadership roles in keeping Thomas County an outstanding place in which to live and work.
Each class is made up of individuals who represent business, industry, government, health, education and other organizations. A geographical and occupational balance is also achieved so that the program represents individuals who live and work in the city and county, and represent a variety of social, economic and professional concerns. Through the interchange of this diverse group, participants are provided a training ground to learn from those with backgrounds different from their own. Brian Moran, Director of Marketing at Hopewell In-Home Senior care says, “By having our nurses assume leadership positions in their community, they are indirectly representing a growing segment of our population, senior citizens who need assistance to age in place. Helping seniors have a voice and role in how our communities can assist, is a task we take seriously at Hopewell’s Thomasville, Georgia office.”
