Alzheimer’s Project of Tallahassee held its 31st annual Alzheimer’s Education and Training Conference at FSU’s School of Medicine on February 20, 2016. Approximately 150 people came out to hear Keynote speaker, Dr. Angela Massey Hill, along with other speakers, discuss a broad range of topics related to this disease. Brian Moran, RN from Hopewell In-Home Senior Care, was present at the event to discuss topics such as: in-home care, respite care, personal care, and nursing oversight. “I’ve been involved with the Alzheimer’s Project for over seven years and can attest to the care and concern they have for the caregivers of those afflicted with Alzheimer’s.” Pictured below with Brian Moran are: Lametra Smallwood, Research Associate at FSU School of Medicine, Tracey Aittama, Memory Disorder Clinic Coordinator, and Brad Johnson, Public Relations at Big Bend Hospice.
