Not all caregiver jobs provide the same experience. As a locally owned and operated agency, we know our caregivers and value them as essential members of our team. We’re always here to provide guidance, encouragement, and the support needed to succeed.
Life doesn’t always fit into a 9-to-5 schedule. We work with our caregivers to create schedules that work around each caregiver’s life and commitments.
We believe caregivers deserve fair compensation and meaningful benefits that not only reflect the important work they do but also support them both on and off the job. Check with your local Hopewell office to learn more about what’s offered.
We offer our caregivers the chance to strengthen their skills and expand their knowledge through online trainings and videos, helping them grow professionally and deliver the highest level of care possible.
At Hopewell, caregivers make a vital impact on the lives of others in our community, providing care and support that helps seniors live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. Join our team and turn your compassion into work that truly matters every day.
Joining our team is simple and straightforward. Here’s what you can expect every step of the way.
We run a Level II background screening on every caregiver to ensure the highest level of safety and trust. This process helps protect our clients and their families, while also giving caregivers peace of mind knowing they are part of a secure and reliable team.
We require an up-to-date, in-person CPR or BLS certification for all caregivers, so you’re ready to handle emergencies confidently and safely. Not certified yet? Check out the CPR resources below.
All caregivers must complete Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) training through the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. This training equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to provide safe, compassionate care for clients living with memory loss or dementia.
Once we’ve received all required documents and your background check has cleared, we schedule you for an in-office orientation with one of our registered nurses. During orientation, you’ll take a caregiver competency test and complete a skills training with one of our registered nurses to ensure you’re fully prepared to provide safe, high-quality care.
Qualified caregivers are compassionate, patient, and dependable, and have either a current Florida CNA license, HHA certificate, or the ability to pass a caregiver competency exam.
While experience is preferred, we welcome compassionate individuals who are willing to learn and complete required training.
We work efficiently to review applications and schedule applicants for orientation as quickly as possible. The overall timeline may vary depending on when required documents are received as well as the processing time for background screening results.
Caregivers provide support for clients with a variety of needs, including personal care, transportation, companionship, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
We offer flexible scheduling whenever possible, so you can select shifts that fit your availability, including night shifts, weekends, and regular weekday shifts.
Caregivers enjoy weekly pay, with the choice of daily pay available at select office locations for added flexibility and convenience.
