Common Questions About End of Life Care In-Home Care

How does Hopewell’s end of life care differ from hospice?

We provide compassionate, non-medical in-home support. Hospice staff attends to medications, wound care, IVs, and other medical issues. We work alongside them to keep the patient comfortable with personal care, like hygiene, getting dressed, turning them in bed to prevent bedsores, and other tasks. Our focus is comfort, emotional presence, and relief for family members.

Can care include overnight or 24-hour support?

Yes. We offer anything from a two-hour visit up to continuous, 24-hour care.
